PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: 'America's Got Talent' prides itself on embracing acts of various forms and sizes, celebrating diversity and unique talents. However, not all acts receive a warm welcome from the judges, as the dreaded red buzzer looms over them. One contestant who experienced the disheartening sound of four buzzes was Koko Hayashi, a face yoga expert originally from Japan but now residing in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, her performance failed to impress, resulting in an immediate elimination from the competition due to a lack of genuine talent.

Koko, a 44-year-old woman hailing from Japan, has made a name for herself by demonstrating facial exercises that promote a more youthful appearance. Sofia Vergara, one of the judges, even confesses to being a follower of Koko on Instagram, sparking some playful banter between the ladies. However, this revelation leaves Heidi feeling slighted, as Sofia had never shared any of Koko's videos with her. As the act commences, anticipation fills the air, only to be met with disappointment as Koko proceeds with massaging her face. Criticism from fans swiftly follows, suggesting that her routine resembles a simple skincare regimen rather than a display of talent.

Koko Hayashi gets buzzed out of 'AGT' Season 18

Residing in her home country of Japan, the youthful 44-year-old Koko captivates audiences by sharing her secrets for maintaining a youthful appearance through facial exercises. One notable follower of hers is Sofia, who keeps up with Koko's updates on Instagram. However, Heidi feels a pang of resentment as she realizes that Sofia has never shared any of Koko's videos with her. The tension builds as Koko takes the stage, leading the panel through a series of peculiar-looking exercises. Simon wastes no time and delivers the first buzz, exclaiming, "You're making us look stupid." The crowd, in an unkind turn of events, responds with boos. Howie and Heidi follow suit, buzzing Koko as well.

Howie interjects, "I think this is something you should do in private." Yet, Koko passionately argues that 'AGT' is a platform for everyone. Amidst the chaos, the crowd's screams reverberate through the theater. In the end, Heidi and Sofia extend their support with resounding "yes" votes. However, Howie and Simon firmly reject Koko's act with their "no" votes. Koko's popularity on TikTok becomes evident, leading some to believe that it might be the ideal platform for her talents. With two affirmations and two rejections, the outcome hangs in the balance.

'Is the next act going to be brow waxing?'

Fans slammed Koko for not showcasing any real talent in her 'AGT' act. One said, "Thank you, for pressing those X’s, Howie," while another added, "She is just here for fun and to make the judges look stupid no way she thought she had a shot to make it on this show it’s not a talent, its skincare routine." Another claimed, "Its talent yes but just not for a stage she should keep it just to her video making." Some pointed out, "Greaaaaaat way for free worldwide Marketing." Another Tweeted, "You have GOT to be kidding me! _FACE_ yoga? No matter how good you feel afterwards, it's not a "talent" you want for a Vegas act!" Another said, "This was just stupid! What makes someone think that they can headline in Vegas by playing with their face?" Another recalled, "She was on @ABCSharkTank lol."
