Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo welcome second baby girl Gio Grace
The good-looking couple have been married since 2014
Congratulations are in order for the Prinsloo-Levine family. The Voice coach Adam Levine and supermodel Behati Prinsloo have become parents for a second time and it is once again, a girl.
Adam's representatives have confirmed the news and has also revealed that they have names their baby girl Gio Grace Levine. No other details of the birth, including the date or time have been made public.
However, we do remember seeing the photo of a very pregnant Behati on Adam's Instagram on Valentine's Day earlier this week. It is, therefore, safe to assume that Gio's birth date is somewhere between February 14 and 16.
The 38-year-old Maroon 5 frontman and the 28-year-old Victoria’s Secret Angel are already parents to one-and-a-half-year-old Dusty Rose, who was in born September 2016. Behati had announced her second pregnancy just a few days shy of Dusty's first birthday.
She had shared a photo of herself in a bikini, showing off her baby bump and captioned it, "ROUND 2…..” Two months later, we also got to know the sex of their baby No. 2, when Adam said this during an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show: “It’s a girl, we’re having another girl."
And, it looks like this mommy and daddy are nowhere near done making adorable babies. He told Ellen, “I want a lot [of kids], I thrive in chaos," adding that growing up as an only child, Behati too, is also A-Okay with this plan. "...She wants like 100 babies. I don’t know if I can do that. That’s a lot of babies," he said.
Behati has also been very open about loving motherhood. She told People in August of last year, “I love Adam, and when you get married and you fall in love with someone, you think that there’s no greater love than that love. And then you have a baby, and it’s just next-level love.”
As the family expands, Adam is reportedly also planning to let his career take a backseat and focus on his family a lot more. A source close to the singer allegedly told Life&Style magazine, "He wants to be at home and chase after his kids. After 13 seasons, he feels it's time for a little break from the show."
