What is the plot of 'A Scottish Love Scheme'?
It should have been a simple and pleasant trip: Lily crossing the Pond and traveling to Scotland to catch up with old pal Logan. But thanks to the duo's meddlesome mothers and their secret plan, a carefree vacation ends up in a hilarious and at times heart-wrenching rom-com full of thrills, spills and the all-encompassing battle of wills.
'A Scottish Love Scheme' Main Cast
Jordan Young
Jordan's breakout role was as Danny in the hilarious TV series 'Legit', he then went on to star in such Scottish staples as 'Rebus' and 'Rab C Nesbitt', before joining the long-running and acclaimed TV series 'Scot Squad' as PC Jack McLaren. But Jordan is surely best known for his role as Alex McCallister in the long-running Glasgow-based soap opera 'River City'.
Erica Durance
If you're wondering why Erica Durance is so familiar it's because she played Lois Lane on the hit show 'Smallville', alongside Tom Welling, Kristin Kreuk, Michael Rosenbaum and the actress who can no longer be named. Not content with starring in just one small screen hit Erica went on to star as Dr Alex Reid in 'Saving Hope' and Alura Zor-El in 'Supergirl'.
Jo Cameron Brown
From theater to the screen, Jo has done it all and made her mark as a thorough professional oozing talent in everything she does. Jo's first major role came -- like Jordan Young -- in 'River City' where she played Moira Henderson. She has also starred in 'Shetland', and 'There She Goes'. She plays Cait Reese in 'A Scottish Love Scheme'.
Juliet Cadzow
Another 'River City' staple, Juliet plays Suzie Fraser in the long-running soap. But before 'River City' she shone as Edie McCredie in 'Balamory' and in the hit Scottish series 'Taggart'. She also starred in 1988's 'Playing For Real' and 1980's 'Doom Castle'.
Is 'A Scottish Love Scheme' worth watching?
It's set in Scotland so you know the backdrop is going to be gorgeous and it's got an excellent cast whose careers have knitted together to form a perfect tapestry of Scottish acting talent founded in some truly amazing shows and movies. Definitely worth a watch.
