Spoilers for Season 2 of 'A Million Little Things'

With what could be perhaps the most powerful, stirring and emotional episodes, 'A Million Little Things' gave its fanbase a truly worthwhile episode before shutting shop for the next two months. Suddenly, all the character arcs came to coincide with each other and just make sense.

As PJ's (Chandler Riggs) crisis comes to an end with Rome's (Romany Malco) help, Delilah (Stephanie Szostak) takes the decision to tell her children about the truth about Charlie's parents and the affair. And while we don't get to see much of the aftermath of her discussion with Sophie (Lizzy Greene) and Danny (Chance Hurstfield), the fall finale ends with Sophie at Eddie and Katherine's doorstep breaking his guitars as Theo (Tristan Byon) looks on.

Fans cannot stop raving about the emotional episode. "Currently bawling from 'A Million Little Things' and jd won’t listen to me rant," said a fan. "The show Million Little Things just made me cry harder than I have in a very long time. Waaayyyy too relatable for me," said another.

Why the episode stood out was also because of its portrayal of some of the most pressing issues of our times - suicide linked to depression. At the end of the episode, the cast came together with Linkin Park's Mark Shinoda and Chester Bennington's wife Talinda Bennington to spread the message of suicide awareness. "Man A Million Little Things just ripped my heart out tonight. Touching so many topics tonight."

A carefully-written and well-acted out scene between Rome and PJ is to be given credit for this. @chandlerriggs your performance on 'A Million Little Things' tonight was AMAZING!!," noted a fan.

"WHOA. @TeamRomany just killed it in this scene for 'A Million Little Things'. Never seen the show before, but the scene he just did was STRONG," said another. Atop that terrace, the conversation between PJ and Rome is both painful yet hopeful - and one that resonates with thousands of people.

In conclusion, after an undulating season, 'A Million Little Things' redeemed itself in the eyes of its audience with 'Time Stands Still'. While it remains to be seen what happens going forward, we are thinking it'll be all the more drama. "This has got to be the best episode. I felt this hard. hit a little too close to home for me. thank you for this outstanding piece of writing, performance and directing," said a fan

It is a long wait till the show returns next year and there are some fans who are already feeling the pinch. "How is A Million Little Things going to end like that."

'A Million Little Things' returns next year on January 23, 2020, at the new time slot, 10 pm ET/PT, on ABC.
