Titled ‘Breaking Point’, the episode sees a full plane of passengers stuck on the tarmac. An employee tries to save the flight attendant who takes the slide and ends up getting injured. The team manages to rescue both of them. On the other hand, a Doctor tells Maddie and Chim that the pandemic is causing a problem for them and the couple might have to deliver the baby at home.

A promo for episode 9 has already been revealed by the network and it makes us realize that there are going to be a lot of heartbreaks in the second half of the season. Maddie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and Howey (Kenneth Choi) reach the hospital as they realize that giving birth at home is risky. Maddie is really excited about the delivery and says, “Today is the day”, with a big smile on her face.
On the other hand, we see an accident happening on the freeway which results in multiple injuries. The 20-second promo is enough for the viewers to get excited for the upcoming half of the season. It will also showcase everyone facing tough situations in their respective lives. There might be a death that will shake up the team.

According to FOX, ‘9-1-1’ Season 4 returns with Episode 9 all the way next month, on Monday, April 19, at its usual 8 pm time slot. The network also said that episode 9 will be the start of the Spring premiere. The fourth season of FOX drama starring Angela Bassett, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Peter Kause in pivotal roles kicked off on January 18, 2021.
