'9-1-1 Lone Star' Episode 2: Shippers hope TK gives Carlos a chance after his failed relationship
This story contains major spoilers for '9-1-1 Lone Star' Season 1 Episode 2 titled 'Yee-Haw'
In the pilot episode of '9-1-1 Lone Star', Owen Strand (Rob Lowe) decides to move to Austin, Texas, in a desperate attempt to save his son TK (Ronen Rubenstein) from his addiction problem.
TK had just proposed to his partner only to be rejected because his partner is in love with someone else. This pushes him to end his life by swallowing some pills. While Strand manages to save his life, they decide that the way forward is to move from Manhattan.
Once in Austin, TK meets the very handsome Rafael Silva as Carlos, a member of the Austin firehouse. They hit it off immediately and we could see the chemistry between them brimming.
In the second episode, TK and Carlos are at Carlos' house getting hot and heavy. Later, TK gets up, readies himself and leaves. Evidently, it gets Carlos a tad upset but he thinks of taking matters in his own hands as he invites him over for the night.
While TK thinks this is a booty call, Carlos actually has dinner ready for the two of them, complete with champagne.
An upset TK tells him he is just out of a serious relationship and is not looking for anything serious. When Carlos insists saying it is only dinner, TK points out that he expected it to be just a booty call. He leaves the house in a frustrated state while Carlos is left behind dejected.
"Ok...it took me a bit, but I'm cool with Carlos. I see his appeal. TK's pretty great as well. Finally, something to draw me in because the scene was decent," said a fan. "I hope TK gives him [Carlos] a chance," chimed in another.
"Carlos and TK are so hot together," said another fan. "911 lone star pilot a serve and tk and carlos are both so hot yup show of the year," tweeted another shipper of the couple.
That brings us to the question if TK will give Carlos a chance after his failed relationship. '9-1-1 Lone Star' will return on Monday, January 27, at 8/9 pm ET/ PT on FOX.
