'90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way': Kenneth feels rejected as Armando refuses PDA, will this be a dealbreaker?
Kenneth and Armando are finally together and are all set to start a new life together. However, the two have a lot of adjusting to do now that they are living as a couple. In the previous episode, Kenneth had expressed his hesitation about moving to a country where he did not know the native language. He found it hard to understand what people were talking about and wondered how he would survive in a country where he did not know how to communicate or what was around in the city.
To make things worse, Kenneth has always been open to PDA and never pays attention to what people might have to say. However, Armando is different. He has recently come out to his parents and has been finding it hard to show PDA in front of others. In the latest episode on July 27, Kenneth was keen on holding Armando's hand in public and admitted that he would not mind kissing him in front of others.
Unfortunately for him, Armando pushed himself back when Kenneth tried to hold his hand. Armando was quick to add that Kenneth should consider his surroundings because not everyone in Mexico is open to seeing two gay men holding hands. He added that Mexico is a place where people still consider men to be of the "macho" kind.
He was quick to add that he did not want to risk his life or Kenneth's because of PDA. While Armando tried to explain the situation, Kenneth seemed rejected and wondered how long it would take for Armando to fully accept the change. Fearing that Kenneth might doubt the relationship, Armado explained how he had recently come out to his family and would need time to fully get comfortable around people outside.
Later, the two sat down and Armando made it clear that he was proud of their relationship but just needed some time. While Kenneth understood it was not a time to push Armando, he hoped that his family does not think of their relationship as a phase or a fling. He was focused on making sure that Armando's family accepts him and gives them their blessing.
