Larissa Dos Santos Lima had been eagerly waiting to start a new life with her boyfriend Eric Nicholas as the two decided to move to Colorado. However, their plans were paused after Larissa was arrested by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Saturday (September 19). Daily Mail reports that "ICE agents showed up to their doorstep". The news was further confirmed by Larissa's friend Carmen Nys, who has also appeared on the show with the reality star. Carmen revealed that Eric and Larissa were about to embark on their new journey when she was arrested.

"We have no clue why. I want to let her family, fans and friends know that we are going there right now and as soon, as I have more info I will keep you guys posted. Send prayers," she wrote on her Instagram stories. Ever since the news of Larissa's arrest broke on the Internet, fans of the show were quick to allege that Debbie or Colt Johnson might have something to do with it. Larissa's relationship with her ex-husband and ex-mother-in-law has not been a great one. During the show, Larissa alleged that Colt had made false domestic violence accusations against her in a bid to get her deported. She further explained that he was not sponsoring her green card anymore.

Larissa and Colt have even exchanged social media posts about each other. Even the pair have separated and are happy in their respective lives, it looks like they cannot get away from each other. Larissa had accused Colt of sharing her pictures with others without her permission. She has also not shied away from talking about Debbie in her posts. Even on the show, the two made it clear that they are over each other as their marriage had been a disaster. Seeing how Larissa was arrested for no reason, fans were quick to comment about the possiblieis of what might have happened. "Ten bucks says mother Debbie is behind it," one user wrote on Instagram.

"Debbie watching in the shadows. "Vengeance is mine," another commented. "This has colteee, mother debbie and vanessa name all over," specualted another. "You know mother Debbie is jumping up and down with excitement," read another comment. While many were quick to react, Debbie put an end to all these speculations by making it clear that she was not involved with Larissa's arrest. She replied to one of the fans and wrote, "don't spread lies you know nothing about. Colt and I didn't have anything to do with this. Please don't tag me".

Later, it was revealed that Larissa has been released by ICE. Her legal team stated that there had been a misunderstanding, as reported by TMZ. After her release, Larissa took to social media to talk to her fans. She assured them that everything was fine and the officers were "very nice". The reality star hinted that she is ready to start a new chapter in her life as she went on to begin her journey to Colorado.
