'90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days': Ed asks Rosemarie to take an STD test to check if she is being faithful
Ed was single for 28 years but then he met Rosemarie on the internet. The two soon started talking every day and before they knew it, they fell in love. Now Ed plans on marrying Rosemarie and is all set to propose to her with a wedding ring. However, things are a little complicated between the two.
To begin with, their age gap seems to be a big concern for Ed. Ed, who is 54, thinks Rosemarie, 23 might be too young for him. To make things worse, she happens to be younger than Ed's daughter, Tiffany, who is 29 years old.
While Tiffany has stopped talking to her father, Ed hopes that things would be fine soon. But before that, he wants to be certain that proposing Rosemarie would be the right decision. In today's episode (February 23), Ed and Rosemarie decided to have a video call. It was during the video call that Ed reveals to us that Rosemarie had a child.
He did not expect her son to call him dad but hoped that one day he would. It was during the conversation that Ed brought up the topic of marriage and about being faithful. However, Rosemarie did not seem happy to talk about the same. The video call then abruptly ends and when Ed tries calling her again, she does not pick up.
These raised some red flags in Ed's mind and he confesses that this was not the first time it happened. He then revealed that he felt like Rosemarie was hiding something and hinted that he wanted her to take an STD test. He justified his actions by stating that he was germophobic and did not want to get in touch with any bacteria.
While Ed did not think that there was anything wrong with it, people thought that taking a test would not give him any answers. "I don't think "Big Ed" wants this STD test as a prerequisite for sex. I get the impression that in his mind he equates a clean test result as proof she's been faithful, which is stupid. You can cheat & be pass an STD test," read one comment.
Another added, "Somebody tell Ed that an STD test can only determine If she has an STD not if she is sleeping around. LoL." While another echoed similar thoughts and wrote, "Ed did you learn nothing from Paul’s seasons?? Don’t ask your woman to do std/pregnancy tests for confirmation that they’re not cheating."
