'90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days': Darcey and Tom return, fans wonder if they're together just for the money
Darcey Silva and Tom Brooks are back on the show to give their relationship another chance but the question is, will it end in the same way as it did on the last season? In today's episode (March 1), Darcey hinted that she had been talking to Tom even after things did not end in a good way after the season finale of the previous '90 Day' series.
In the finale episode, Tom had hinted that he and Darcey would be better off as friends and it would be good for them to see other people. However, this season told a different story as Darcey hinted that the two were still together but not as close as she would want them to be.
That being said, there were other issues in their relationship that the pair haven't sorted out as yet. The episode hinted that communication is still a big problem between the two. For instance, Darcey seemed upset about Tom not wishing her on her birthday and even though she had issues with it, she decided to push it under the rug rather than talk to him about it.
While this is only one of the instances where the couple seemed distant, fans have been wondering if there is really more to their story. After seeing the couple in the previous season, everyone was convinced that it was 'The End' to their chapter.
Now, seeing them return, many are wondering what more can they expect from them. Some imagined that the pair were putting on a show just to earn money. "Wait... Darcey is still a thing? At this point I think she and Tom are doing this for a paycheck," one comment read.
Another wrote, "Whoa wait..... I thought that the book had already ended!?!? Way to drag stuff out." Others thought that there is no hope for the couple as another comment read, "Tom and Darcey have no future. Tom is very clearly not attracted to nor interested in her. He only entertains her to be apart of the show. Darcey needs psychological help before any guy can find her needy crazy-as* attractive."
Looks like the fans have already made up their mind that this relationship will not last. Will the pair prove them wrong?
