The actor often does his portrayal of Donald Trump on the long-running sketch series 'Saturday Night Live', a role that won him his third Primetime Emmy in 2017 and a nomination the next year. He is known for his roles in 'The Departed', 'Blue Jasmine', and 'The Aviator'. His performance in 'The Cooler' won him a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. As Kenneth Parcell, he was nominated for Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series at the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards. McBrayer is known for his portrayal of characters on 'Late Night with Conan O'Brien'. The statement released by the network also promises that "more" characters will make appearances.
