Mother hasn't shampooed her children's hair in over a year and says they are better off without it
She and her two children have finished 'one year of no shampoo', conditioners, artificial hair dyes, and also haircuts and she finds their hair more voluminous now.
People spend vast amounts of money on their hair and haircare without fully understanding just how much damage they could be doing to it. However, there is a new movement on the rise which is encouraging women to avoid using shampoo.
The movement has aptly been named the 'no poo' movement and has been embraced by quite a number of women. One such woman is a mother of two, Virginia Tapscott who resides in New South Wales. As reported by FEMAIL, she and her two children have finished 'one year of no shampoo' and also conditioners, artificial hair dyes, and also haircuts. "My hair is different now. It has more body and is less dry and brittle. The natural oils actually make it easier to brush," Virginia shared.
