2020 NBA Draft: Fans upset as Bulls select Patrick Williams with No 4 overall pick, wonder 'where's the logic?'
The Chicago Bulls have selected Patrick Williams with the No. 4 overall pick in the ongoing 2020 NBA Draft on Wednesday. He was looked at as one of the best players in Florida behind Devin Cassell. The selection is ample proof of his hard work paying off. According to CBS Sports, the 6-foot-8 forward has been touted as one of the future with his top-notch defending skills. However, Bulls fans had mixed opinions regarding the pick. Here are a few reactions:
"Horrible pick by the bulls. Another Anthony Bennett" read one of the tweets. This was seconded by another fan who tweeted: "WE TOOK A BENCH PLAYER WITH THE FOURTH OVERALL PICK!!!! WHERE IS THE LOGIC!!!:"

ESPN gave a quick look at his strengths.
(i) Has an ideal physical profile for a forward at 6-foot-8, 225 pounds, with a wingspan around 7-foot. Length and athleticism to defender smaller players, plus a powerful frame that should allow him to switch onto big men.
(ii) Showed some flashes of touch shooting off the dribble from mid-range, as well as stepping into spot-up 3-pointers confidently. Hit 84% of his free throw attempts.
(iii) Second-youngest player in this draft class. Somewhat of a late bloomer who appears to have considerable upside.
But fans continued to debate the selection on Twitter. "Dude couldn’t even start in college.. take the five guys in front of him," read one of the comments on Twitter. "This is a great pick. Surprising, definitely could have traded down, but his potential and effort are through the roof,' read one of the positive comments after the pick was announced.
Hopefully, this will provide the fans something to cheer about: "Pat is a baller! Does everything well and SUPER athletic. Don't sweat the non starter label, that's an FSU thing. Two straight years with a non-starter drafted in the first round." "Welcome to the Bulls, cant wait to watch the season you will do great," another wrote in favor of Williams.

Will the Bulls benefit from Williams? Only time will tell.
