Clearly you can't please them all. Nik Wallenda just made history by walking across an active volcano and some people on Twitter are slamming him for using a harness since he was walking almost 1,800 feet above a crater full of lava. They're just not impressed.

"Yeah Nik Wallenda has a huge harness strapped to him. I don't wish him harm, but where's the risk? #VolcanoLive #volcanolivewithnikwallenda," said one Twitter user, while another wondered how this act was impressive, "How is this 'death defying'?!?! The dude is in a SAFETY HARNESS!!#VolcanoLIVE."

A third one said, "NOT ONLY DOES HE HAVE A SAFETY HARNESS BUT THIS 'WIRE' IS ROUGHLY THE SIZE OF MY FUCKING SIDEWALK!! #VolcanoLive." Another commented, "This would be a whole lot more impressive without the safety harness #VolcanoLive."

One user felt that it was done in his backyard. "#VolcanoLive they might as well have done this in his backyard 10 feet up. With a harness on, who cares? Where exactly is the danger they hyped?"

Another tweeted, "Am I missing something #VolcanoLive? They keep talking life and death and yet you have a safety line attached to you? I’m happy you do, but I’m confused. If you fall you’ll likely 99% be ok."

Another called him "soft" and said, "Can’t be wearing a harness. Wallenda is soft. They might as well have put him in a private jet and flown him across the volcano. It would’ve been more dangerous... #VolcanoLive."

However, not everyone was as unimpressed. Some users slammed these trolls and said that they'd like to see them try it.

Wallenda has never been keen on using safety gear but this walk was nothing that the family has ever tried in generations.

His wife Erendira also mentioned this during the ABC special before they went on with the performance, saying that although they had prepared themselves, things can become unpredictable in the blink of an eye.

Harness or not, Wallenda still had to walk the line in the midst of toxic fumes and strong winds while his tight rope was a little unstable at the end. The heat emanating was obviously quite powerful and could have truly affected his walk in the worst way.

Nik Wallenda's 'Volcano Live' wire walk aired on ABC on March 4.
