SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: 'The Fall Guy' hits the screens on May 3, 2024. The film directed by former stunt performer David Leitch follows the journey of a stuntman Colt Seavers (Ryan Gosling) who is the stunt double for an action star Tom Ryder (Aaron Taylor-Johnson).

He retires from his job after an injury but comes back at the insistence of Gail Meyer (Hannah Waddingham) for the directorial debut of Jody Moreno (Emily Blunt).

Jody, who is also Colt's love interest is directing a science fiction epic called 'Metalstorm' which stars Tom Ryder and needs Colt to do the stunt double duties. The film gets into trouble when Tom goes missing and Colt tries to find him. While searching his home, Colt discovers Tom's cell phone which has a video of Tom killing another stuntman Henry, and frames Colt for the murder using a doctored video.

Tom and his security team try to kill Colt after telling him that it was Tom who caused the accident. Does Colt survive? What happens to 'Metalstorm'? Here's 'The Fall Guy' ending explained.

Tom Ryder who thinks he has taken care of Colt now returns to the set of 'Metalstorm' to finish the shoot. Colt, however, is alive and sneaks into Jody's truck and chalks out a plan with her to prove her innocence.

The final sequence of 'Metalstorm' needs to be shot on a chroma screen and edited through VFX. As Tom is performing the sequence, Colt disguises himself as one of the fictional creatures Tom is fighting and drives Tom's car away.

Jody keeps the camera rolling and films the action sequences as they take place with Colt and Tom in the car.

As Colt drives Tom off and performs death-defying stunts with him, Tom fears for his life and admits to killing Henry and framing Colt forgetting that he is still wired for the shot. He also admits to Gail's role in the entire conspiracy.

Colt and his team of stuntmen fight off Gail and Tom in a thrilling sequence of events. Jody also gets the shots for 'Metalstorm' and secures the footage and confession.

With Tom away, Jody's film is now in jeopardy but as the film is being screened at Comic-Con, it is revealed that Jason Momoa, who makes a cameo in 'The Fall Guy', took Tom's place in 'Metalstorm'.

'Metalstorm' receives great accolades and Jody's first film is a success. The action-packed film 'The Fall Guy' ends on a positive note with the film now complete and Colt proven innocent.
