In Episode 3 of 'Parish,' Anton (Bradley Whitford), the leader of a criminal gang, was introduced to the series. In Episode 4, it was revealed that Gray was once employed by Anton but retired from that lifestyle after marrying and starting a family.

Anton could have killed Gray's son as revenge for Gray leaving his employment. This theory adds a sinister motive to Anton's character, indicating his willingness to go to extreme lengths to settle scores with those who betray him.

In Episode 4, it was revealed that Anton sent men to kill The Horse (Zackary Momoh), a leader of another criminal gang in New Orleans. This revelation sheds light on the true nature of Anton, demonstrating his capability to order the murder of anyone who stands in his way.

When Anton learned that Gray had saved The Horse, he retaliated by capturing Gray's family. In exchange for their safety, Anton demanded that Gray assassinate The Horse.

Given the unfolding events in 'Parish,' the circumstances surrounding Gray's son's death point to the possibility that Anton could be responsible for the murder.

As a key figure in the criminal underworld of 'Parish,' The Horse is no stranger to violence and might have had motives to kill Gray's son

In Episode 2, The Horse ominously informed Gray that he was aware of what happened to his son, implying a deeper knowledge of the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.

The Horse then expressed empathy, stating that he would feel devastated if something similar happened to his son. This cryptic exchange between The Horse and Gray hints at a possible connection between The Horse and the events leading to Gray's son's death.

He could indeed be the mastermind behind the entire scenario, driven by his motives. Perhaps there's a personal grudge at play or a strategic move to eliminate a potential threat.

Was Colin involved in the murder of Gray's son?

Colin (Skeet Ulrich), Gray's best friend, could potentially be the one who betrayed Gray and murdered his son. Throughout the series, Colin has consistently appeared suspicious, as if he's harboring a secret or hiding something.

Colin's involvement with criminal gangs even after Gray left that world raises suspicion about his potential involvement in Gray's son's murder.

Colin could have been ordered to kill Gray's son by someone within the criminal underworld, either as a means of retaliation against Gray or as part of a more extensive plan.

In 'Parish' Episode 1, Colin is the one who urges Gray to return to the criminal world. This suggests that Colin may have ulterior motives and could be manipulating Gray for his gain.

Who could be responsible for Gray's son's death? Only time will tell.
