'Dublin Murders' Episode 7: Who killed Lexie and other questions the Starz show must answer
We are six episodes deep into the mystery that 'Dublin Murders' introduced us to earlier this year, and we do not seem to be getting any closer to finding the answers to any of them. The Starz series, which had started off with the murder of Katy (Amy Macken), went on to reveal that the murder has some connection - probably a supernatural one - to the lead investigator of the case, Rob (Killian Scott), before bombarding us with more storylines involving his partner Cassie (Sarah Greene) who has a doppelganger who is killed.
The upcoming Episode 7 of the series also happens to be the penultimate episode in the series and will need to answer a host of questions involving these storylines because we are still confused about a lot of things. First off, what is the real story involving young Rob aka Adam, his friends and Jonathan (Peter McDonald) and his friends? Why is Rob not able to remember what happened in the woods after he lost contact with his friends? Was it a supernatural being that raises its head every twenty odd years? Is Rob's weird neck pain a result of what happened to him in the woods?
Moving on, will Katy's murder be solved at all? What does Rob's past have to do with her disappearance and why is he convinced without any real grounds that finding out what happened to him in the woods as a child will also help him understand what happened to Katy? Was Katy abused by her parents or another adult who she trusted?
Parallelly, we also need answers to what is going on with Cassie. How did her childhood alter-ego-turned undercover identity come to life? Are there more women who look exactly like her? Will solving Lexie's murder help Cassie solve Katy's murder? How did Cassie get pregnant after it was revealed that the late Lexie was also carrying? Will Cassie be able to solve who killed Lexie, and will she find out that her roommates/best friends are not to be trusted?
The romantics among us also want to know if Cassie and Rob will get together before the series ends, and if Rob is the father of Cassie's unborn child. Hopefully, the upcoming Season 1 Episode 7 of 'Dublin Murders', which is set to be aired on Sunday, December 22, will answer at least some of these questions, if not all.
