One of the scariest things to ever happen to a police officer while they're in jail is when the inmates know who they are. In the case of Texas cop Ashley, it is even scarier. Not only do the inmates seriously suspect she is a cop, they also think she's on '60 Days In', which could potentially jeopardize the whole operation and get Ashley killed.

After Ashley contained the situation with a mentally ill patient Ciara last week, the inmates figure out that Ashley couldn't be anyone else but a cop. Ashley uses a trained maneuver to keep Ciara, who was wiping the floor with her body, from falling off the railings. Everyone in the women's pod of the Etowah County jail witnessed it and before Ashley could retract, it was too late.

At first, it was just catcalling. "Officer McNair! Police!" the women who scream whenever Ashley walked by but things got more serious this week. Ashley was so terrified of what could happen that she stayed inside her cell the whole time. Just to get some fresh air, she sought the help of the production team.

After a chat with them, the team contacts Chief Peek and Sheriff Horton, who decide it was best to pull her out. While Ashley is not the type to tap out, she eventually gives into their decision, since her life really was in danger. She comes back with some valuable inputs about how the women were sneaking contraband in their bra and the lack of protocol in the intake and inside.

Ashley may not have been a favorite of all fans, but she definitely had a memorable time on the show. The fact that it was such a difficult decision for both Peek and Horton makes it clear that they did think she was capable of the task. She had always been the survivor with her eyes on the goal.

Now, it is up to Jennifer, the former stripper and born again Christian to finish the task. Catch the season finale of '60 Days In' next Thursday on A&E.
